JANA- Regular Board Meeting

Call to Order
Secretary’s Report – July meeting was the award selections for gardens. No formal meeting. One thing discussed was a “Welcome to the Neighborhood” letter suggested by Tia Van Berkom. Jay said that he could find out about home sales.  We could make contact that way and ask them to sign up to our email list.

Treasurer’s Report - $70 in checking

1-Park Update
           Weeding has been done
           S&S replanting in the spring with pre-emergent herbicide

 

2- Park Sign Update- No news

3- Adopt a Park – Dawn contacted the Parks Department about adoption

4- Website
     Police Update sent July 23 to webmaster
    
5-Neighborhood Watch – No news

4-Contact with Jefferson Principle about newsletter
  Agassiz and Carl Ben – Jay Nelson

5- Contact with Knight Printing – Jay will make contact for donated printing.

6- Neighborhood House parties were discussed as a possibility for growing the association. Several names were mentioned as possibilities.

7- Contact with award winners- All award winners have been contacted
     The press release has been sent
     Scheels Home and Hardware will donate six signs next year

8- Business Cards: Dawn had business cards made and dispersed them to the attendees.
The cards contain contact information and the demarked boundaries of the neighborhood.

9- Mark indicated that he would like to be relieved of member contact.
     Dawn agreed to take on the list.
